- Test drive…. pedal is not disengaging the clutch all the way, causing the shifter to "rake" going into reverse And hard time getting into 1st at a stop. This is a hydraulic clutch with a slave. BLeed the system multiple time…. did not get any air out of system and did not make a difference in the pedal action. FIx for this is to replace slave which is in the trans which would have to come out of the car to replaced. That far apart…. should replace clutch disk and pressure plate also. See attached est.
