Scanned computer code P0442- small EVAP leak. Recommend smoke test to see. About $150 Tighten gas cap and clear code at this time. After talking to customer decided to run a smoke test. Toyota's use a vacuum system vers pressure system. Found bad vacuum line at engine, also noticed a fuel stain on the fuel tank but did not see any smoke or leakage. If light continues may have to drop tank to get a better look at what is going happening on top of the tank. Also more pressing is the leakage at the rear diff (see photo). Rear housing is rusted and seeping gear lube.

Scanned computer code P0304-misfire on cylinder #4. Pulled coil, bad, pulled spark plug, well worn. Remove and replace coil on #4 and new spark plugs. Clean mass air flow. Replace both air and cabin filter. Check wires, belts, and hoses, good. Clear code, test drive, runs great

Checking same problem purge valve allowing vacuum to leak causing leak condition. After talking to hot line… said they been having LOTS of issues with this only replace with OEM part. Have part ordered from dealer… Toyota said they have been having problems also… part is on back order…. could be a couple weeks.
